Repertorio 2004 Aglianico del Vulture |
|
$ 32.14 USD
The 2004 Il Repertorio follows a different regime, seeing less
maceration time and spends 2 years in older barrels. It has a ruby
purple color and a juicy fresh fruit forward style offering highly
concentrated and mouthfilling dried black cherry fruit flavors with
notes of licorice. It is a big dense wine with an elegant structure and
long lasting finish.

Autentica 2004 Moscato Passito ml 500 |
|
$ 48.79 USD
An amber dessert wine with dried apricot and plum raisins followed by candied lemon drops and orange marmalade. Thick and commanding with good acidity to achieve balance. A blend of Moscato and Malvasia grapes. (October 2006) This late harvest wine is one of Italy's better sweet wines. Crystal-clear golden yellow color. Beautiful nose of acacia honey, candied lemon peel, grapefruit and mango. Shows a remarkably sweet and unctuous mouth feel yet manages to avoid being cloying thanks to just enough acidity to leave the palate fresh. (July/Aug. 2005) Wine Spectator International Wine Cellars

La Firma 2004 |
|
$ 52.64 USD
Sweet and refined, with layers of dark fruit, tobacco, earthiness, roasted coffee beans and chocolate that flow from the glass. It offers outstanding persistence on the palate and a fresh, bright note of mint that frames the finish and provides a lovely counterpoint to some of the darker aromas and flavors. The oak is quite promiment, but has also begun to integrate with the wine. This is a terrific effort from Cantina del Notaio. (February 2008) Wine Advocate 92
